| The Process
- From Stump To Studio
We build our guitars from the ground
up, selecting only pieces that are suitable.
We harvest each tree
personally. We then re-saw the wood and cure it.
Each guitar is put together to best
"show off" the figure in the wood.
After the shape is cut out and the
hardware openings drilled, the sanding begins. Each
guitar is sanded to 320 grit prior to applying the finish.
We apply 12 coats of nitro-cellulose
lacquer as a finish and then sand to 1500 grit. The body
is completed when the buffing brings out the amazing shine.
We set the neck and hardware and
complete the set-up. Each guitar is then tested to
ensure maximum sound and playability.
The "custom made" guitar is
then complete.
